Creating a Character

Here on Archaic Eden, the only thing we require you to do in order to create your character is to post in the creation board. The only thing you need to do from there is fill in the form that automatically loads. When you submit the form will automatically generate a formatted post. Please do not edit this post or the code may break, unless of course you consider yourself a wiz at coding and have made an error when inputing your form.

If there is a problem with your form your application will be denied rather than place on pending. This is because the coding of the form is quite complicated and its easier to simply resubmit an application. There may be rare cases when the form is placed on pending, but that would normally be because there's a symbol in your character's name that shouldn't be there...etc.

So why are there areas in your profile for you to fill in? Well those are all optional, they make your profile look nice and add some information to your miniprofile when you post. In your profile you can add extra information about personality and appearance as well as links to other reference images, plot pages, logbooks and so on.

If you have any questions feel free to PM a staff member and they will help you!

Personality Points

You have 200 points to spend when you create your profile. This part of the system is not automatic and so you need to count as you add the points. You can spend them however you wish on the different traits but we recomend spending them as follows:

30 points to Intelligence traits (Stupid-Smart, Ignorant-Learned, Helpless-Street-Smart, Dull-Witty, Forgetful-Remembering, Irrational-Rational)

30 points to Physical Qualities (Ugly-Attractive, Weak-Strong, Slow-Fast, Clumsy-Agile, Unifit-Enduring)

70 points to Virtuousness (Unfaithful-Faithful, Decieving-Honest, Vindictive-Forgiving, Arrogant-Humble, Selfish-Altruistic, Cowardly-Brave, Surrendering-Persistent, Cruel-Merciful, Submissive-Obstinate, Immoral-Moral, Lazy-Hard-Working, )

70 points to Social Skills (Insecure-Confident, Mean-Kind, Negligent-Caring, Reserved-Talkative, Reclusive-Outgoing, Vile-Charismatic, Aggressive-Calm, Violent-Gentle, Short-Tempered-Patient, Follower-Leader, Suspicious-Confiding, Disapproving-Open Minded, Rude-Polite, Exploitative-Appreciative)

Of course at the end of the day it is up to you, you can even spend less points if you so desire.
